Only people who earn a lot of money aresuccessful?
Do you agree or disagree with the followingstatement? Only people who earn a lot of money are successful. Use specificreasons and examples to support your answer.
When evaluating one’s defeat or greatness, many people might equate success with moneysince money plays a significant role in our daily lives. However, others mayhave different definition of success. And my understanding of it is that moneyis not the only sign of success, there are manyother factors that also contribute to the final success including keepingholding on one’s faith or serving for the majority of others.
Admittedly, no one can deny that earning alarge number of money is a great winning which represent economic and materiel fluent. In a world filledwith desire for materiel tender, money is not only essential for people tosurvive, but also attractive for people to get their purpose. There are sufficient evidences in favor of this fact. BillGates is regarded to be one of the most successful people in the worldaccording to his great famous reputation of the richest man who has earnedcountless money after the foundation of Microsoft Company.
It would be reasonable to believe thatmoney is the one of indispensable components ofsuccess, but it would be wrong to claim that only with a large number ofmoney could people be successful. In fact, a multitude of factors could lead tothe success. One of these factors that I appreciate the most is having a happyfamily. Family is a precious relationship which is also hard to maintainconsidering the hardness and unfortunately accidentbump into our lives. Whether one is in a good mental condition isdefinitely a critier of success from a whole life perspective. Even the richestpeople could never be considered to be success if they spend all time in loneliness, for who the gold building is just the weakness in their heart.
Moreover, I truly show my respect to thiskind of people who sticking to one's faith for their entire life and put others interests beyond themselves'. Withmoney or not, they could still be successful. Historyis abounds with the examples of this kind of success. Madame Cure isknown as a great female scientist who won the noble prize for the firsttime. Meanwhile, common people remember more about her is about her altruist defeat that she gave up her opportunityto earn a lot of money trough selling her new discovery the element of radiomwhile she never make up her selves like other beautiful ladies at her time. Anotherman named Gandi, great contributor to the worldly revolution fighting forfreedom, who is has spent all his life poor, is a great speculative man in thehistory. His success was about faith to searching for free for all people inhis country.
In conclusion, money is only one part ofsuccess which might means a lot to some people, and means a little to others. The whole success is composed by many other factors, fromwhich I prefer the faith and alurizien most. Money could bring peoplethe physical satisfied, and the latter could lead to a mental.
